Easter Confirmation

St. John 21:12-14 (Gospel text)
Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” Now none of the disciples dared to ask him, “Who are you?”  They knew it was the Lord.  Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and so with the fish.  This was now the third time that Jesus was revealed to the disciples after he was raised from the dead.

Easter Octave

St. John 20:19, 26 (Gospel text)
On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” … Eight days later, his disciples were inside again … Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”

Ashes to Alleluias!

St. Luke 24:5-8 (Gospel text)
And as they (the women) were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men (two angels) said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?  He is not here, but has risen.  Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.”  And they remembered his words.
